I started Mr. Schilz's Thai kickboxing classes after doing absolutely no exercise following a recovery from stage III cancer and am now stronger than I ever was--my muscles, my cardiovascular system, my lymph system--thanks to the great workouts I get in class. Plus I am more and more pleased with the way I look every day. Mr. Schilz sets a great space for people of all levels, from people just starting out, including a woman in her eighties, to very tough men and women mega-athletes. You have total permission to go at your own pace and push yourself as much as is optimal for your body. Mr. Schilz and his instructors also provide individual attention to make sure you are practicing the forms correctly and safely. I wholeheartedly recommend his program for anyone invested in their wellness.

One evening when my son and I were out enjoying an art event the city puts on we were talking with the shop owners, my son reached out to shake their hand, gave them a courtesy bow and spoke with amazing respect!
I was so proud!

My son has always sat in the back and never been one to show any more initiative than needed. But since he started at Trans he is more respectful at home with his family and at his school! Recently he earned an award from his school! Being respectful, making good choices all day, and a great attitude!

On Wednesday 10/2008, Mr. Haskins a five year old young tiger came to a belt promotion class, before he had the required number of stripes. Being extremely enthused about class, Mr. Haskins participated in anyway. After class his mom asked him if he was disappointed he didn’t receive his new belt or his medals, and he replied “No, I am going to work really hard so I can get my new belt and medals next time!” |
